Business and Technology Incubation Center (BTIC) at Wollega University

Wollega University has identified the need to strengthen research and development activities and promote technology transfer to the industry and society. As part of this effort, the university has embarked on establishing a Business and Technology Incubation Center (BTIC).
The BTIC at Wollega University aims to provide an environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. By offering a platform for collaborative learning and interaction between academia, industry, and government, the center aims to promote the growth of startup businesses and regional economic development.
The establishment of the BTIC at Wollega University took place in 2010 according to the Ethiopian Calendar. Since then, the center has been a hub of activity, hosting events, seminars, and workshops that focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology transfer. Through its various programs and initiatives, the center provides resources and support for aspiring entrepreneurs and startups, including mentorship, training, and incubation services.At the BTIC, we believe that innovation and entrepreneurship are key drivers of economic growth, and we are committed to supporting the startup ecosystem in Ethiopia.
